The Oracle

Endless echoes return with ancient tales
Gods of war and iron line the halls
Misty fields and ghost of heroes
Now line the smoke filled memorial

Caravans of stone cross the ocean dune
Quiet mammoths line the desert seas
Patient Condor eyes all the dimming souls
Laid down by the Witch

Curse the Oracle for the gift of sight
Even now the air turns dry
Water creeps into the soil
For sand shall be our fate

At The Hall

Oceans swallow whole through the Ebb and Flow
Reflecting on waves the rise and fall

Tidal walls climb and the Sea groans
Calm and silent now turns dark

Water floods in, testing the wood
Tension and pressure
Push and Pull

We reach the steps, our journey now passed
Footsteps echoe against stone
As the moon shines through the smoke ringed trees
So far away from Home

Hall of serpents black forgotten by the Sun
Frost chills night air
Past the Mountain high it is waiting...
